BBQ Pork Dip

An easy & wonderful way to use leftover pork.

Ingredients:

2-8 oz packages cream cheese softened

½ cup sour cream

About 1 pound leftover cooked pork

(roast, shoulder, or butt) chopped or shredded

1-16 oz (or more) bottle of Lynch BBQ Sauce or

your favorite sweet BBQ sauce

Your favorite butter crackers

Parsley sprigs for decoration

Special equipment needed: Small pizza pan or large plate

Put pork and BBQ sauce together in a good-sized saucepan. Cook on low heat for at least 45 minutes the sauce becomes a thicker

consistency, stirring occasionally. When meat and sauce are cooking, mix cream crease sour cream and seasoning s (if desired)

then spread cream cheese on plate evenly. (Cream cheese should be about 1/8 inch deep.) Refrigerate cream cheese. Cool meat

mixture then spread out meat mixture over cream cheese mixture, leaving enough for a cream cheese edge. Decorate with parsley

sprigs. Serve with crackers.

Note: For a lower fat version of this recipe, use light or no fat cream cheese. Using Lynch’s Butt Rub, Lynch’s Sweet Rub, or

Lynch’s Steakmaker, garlic salt, coriander, Spanish paprika or other spices helps bring some flavor into the low fat cream cheese.

Use about 2 teaspoons total of the seasonings.
